Panagbenga 2007 - Baguio City flower festival

I'm off to the Philippines' summer capital - BAGUIO CITY - just in time as the heat started to rise in the Metro. I did not realize this weekend kicks off the Panagbenga - Baguio City's famous Flower Festival.

I promise to take lots of photos with my new NIKON D50 digital SLR camera in tow - yeah baby - this thing has that clarity and control that is lacking in my Fuji FinePix S6000 digital camera - now I can see clearly! I will endeavor to share the pictures that I will take - flowers of different kinds and varieties - as well as Baguio Cityscapes and scenes, mountain people kind of photos. I'll try to wake up very early in the morning and catch the Baguio city sunrise on film - alright, digital film.

Ayt gang, finally uploaded photos taken during the Panagbenga 2007 Flower Festival in Baguio last week. We did not go to the actual parade coz of the huge throng of people, besides, the POLITICOS messed up the parades anyway. So, I hope you enjoy these photos.

Nice pics Was able to pick strawberries at La Trinidad during one of my trips to Benguet. It was a really fun experience.
