Strawberry Festival at La Trinidad

If you're planning a Baguio summer vacation this month, better not miss the Strawberry Festival at La Trinidad (http://www.pilipinas.ph/travel-leisure/photo-blog-la-trinidad-strawberry-farm-benguet-2007-03-05.php), about 20-30 minutes from the city proper. While there you can pick your own yummy, red strawberries to take home :) But you'll have to pay for them of course...

picking strawberries off the farm is a fantastic experience, just remember to hold yourself from eating the strawberry right off the bat coz those sweet and munchy fruits while delectable needs a lot of washing and cleansing - remember they get sprayed with pesticides ayt?

while at the Strawberry Farm - you can also try strawberry win (HIK), different kinds of strawberry wines (http://www.wine.com.ph)such as the WILD STRAWBERRY WINE - I tried them all but just not my taste (I guess).

another food to try and if you ask me is a MUST BUY - is the PINIPIG rice cake - made of fresh green pinipig - oh so sarap! Got yall excited yet? K, happy vacation! :D
