Found this video tutorial about How to Sing in the Recording Studio Using Professional Microphone (http://www.sound-weavers.com/recording-tracking/how-to-sing-to-mic-in-the-recording-studio-video-podcast-2/), great talent demonstrating the vocal singing and mic positioning techniques - handling the song "It's a Chokin' Kind (http://www.MusicLyricsTab.com/?s=Chokin+Kind)" by Joss Stone (http://www.SongParade.com/?s=Joss+Stone) with such ease. Take a look for yourself.

It seems after watching this video tutorial that it is not difficult at all to sing in the recording studio using professional microphones. The Neumann u87 mic that was used in the video is the same microphone used by superstar recording artists from Madonna to Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and other top notch artists.
